I have a one man show in Aspen Colorado on August 2nd

My new book entitled "The Painterly Approach" published and distributed by North Light

I have just seen the advanced copies of my new book and it is very nice if I must say so myself. I'm very excited for it's release.
The book will be ready to ship in late August and will be available in most outlets after September.

August 2 - One Man Show in Aspen Colorado at Aspen Grove Fine Art.
This show will feature my Aspen Tree paintings, of course. There will be a number of large works including sizes up to 48"X60"

October 16 I will have a one man show and book signing at the Southwest Gallery in Dallas, TX. Many of the paintings featured in the new book will be available at this show, as well as many other new works and small studies.

I have been working on a new Oil Painting DVD with Artist Productions. It is now at the duplicator and will be available soon.

The new 2 disk DVD features a studio demonstration plus two small plein air demonstrations. There are also a number of special features focusing on warm and cool color, value, shapes and many more. I'm very excited about this new DVD project and hope that you agree when you see it.

Plein Air Texas 2008

This years plein air event found us painting in Big Bend National Park, Fredericksburg and San Antonio Texas. We all returned to Dallas on April 19 for the Quick Draw competition and show opening at Southwest Gallery.
Sales again this year were very strong with about 1/3 of the show selling.

In 2009 we are planning to change the name and expand the show to Plein Air Southwest 2009 and include a broader geographic area in the show. The 2009 exhibition and sale will be held in late November rather then the spring as it was in the past.
